Extra Steer Sensor for TowGo® Trailer Backup Navigation Aid™ (U.S.A. and Canada)
What type of socket does your vehicle have?
Only Flat-four
If your trailer has a Flat-four plug and is using the vehicle's Flat-four socket, you will need a Flat-four to dual Flat-four adapter. These are widely available at auto parts stores.
Only 7-Round RV (Blade)
If your trailer has a 7-Round RV plug and is using the vehicle's 7-Round RV socket, you will need an adapter to additionally provide a Flat-four socket for your TowGo Hitch Sensor. Adapters providing both a 7-Round and a Flat-four are difficult to find, so we have created this 7-Round RV (Blade) to 7‑Round RV plus Flat-4 Adapter for this purpose.
If your trailer has a Flat-four plug (or a Flat-five plug) and is using an adapter to plug into the vehicle's 7-Round RV socket, you may need a different adapter to additionally provide a Flat-four socket for your TowGo Hitch Sensor. Adapters that plug into a 7-Round socket and provide both a Flat-four and a Flat-four/Flat-five socket are widely available.
Both Flat-four & 7-Round RV (Blade)
If your trailer has a 7-Round RV plug and is using the 7-Round RV socket, you may not need an adapter. Be sure that your vehicle's Flat-four socket can be used at the same time as its 7-Round RV socket; some vehicles have socket covers that prevent both sockets from being used at the same time – if this is the case for your vehicle, see the previous option: Only 7-Round RV (Blade).
If your trailer has a Flat-four plug and is using the vehicle's Flat-four socket, you will need either a Flat-four to dual Flat-four adapter or a 7-Round RV (Blade) to Flat-four adapter. Either adapter is widely available.
Other
For other trailer and vehicle connector configurations, you will need to provide a Flat-four socket for the TowGo Hitch Sensor to plug into for power.
